Since its founding in 1869, the St. Catharines Curling Centre (formally the St. Catharines Curling Club) has been a fixture in the Niagara community, introducing thousands of people to the sport of curling, and has been home to many local and provincial champions. Our best-known ambassador is two-time World Curling Champion Marilyn Bodogh.
The St. Catharines Curling Centre is a not-for-profit organization, governed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership. The Board is composed of the President, Treasurer and between 10-12 section co-ordinators.
We are a volunteer run club with almost 400 members. Our membership is our most valued asset and includes curlers aged 5 to 95, with more than 50 children curling in the Little Rocks and Junior programs.
In addition to 4 sheets of ice, the club has a lounge, bar facilities and a Pro Shop. We run leagues 7 days a week both in the daytime and in the evenings.
