Starting October 22nd, SCCC is introducing a "Development League" for beginners (with less than 5 years curling experience) who aspire to play the game beyond the recreational level.
- Members sign up as individuals for the season (any combination of women and men)
- League Convenor makes up teams which change half way through the season
- Each team will be made up of three new players and one experienced mentor
- Players will develop game fundamentals at every position while participating in a competitive league
- 6-end Games to begin with potential to increase to 8-end games
- Weekly on Saturday mornings from 11 am - 12:30 pm
- Season runs from Oct 22, 2022 - mid April 2023
- Training included as part of the league
- "Learn-to-Curl 101" is included free of charge for New Members
- NOTE: those interested must sign up for "Learn-to-Curl 101" during registration
- Cost:
- $250 +tax you are a new member playing in this league only
- League fee of $90 +tax with the Basic Membership fee of $250 +tax
- Included with "All Inclusive" Memberships
