Mon / Wed Morning Open Drop In

  • Recreational 8-end "pick-up" curling
  • Open to women and men
  • Mondays - games begin at 9:00 AM
  • Wednesdays - games begin at 9:30 AM
  • Players must be a member of the club
  • Individuals sign up a week in advance and the League Convenor makes up teams for the following week
  • Teams can be adjusted as needed from those present
  • $5.00 / game

Monday Night Women/Men

  • Competitive 8-end curling
  • Games at 6:25 PM and 8:40 PM weekly
  • Skips select teams of 4 men or 4 women and teams are entered for the entire season
  • The men and women’s teams compete against each other for overall Monday night championship
  • Women’s team results also lead to the Business Women’s Monday championship
  • Men’s team results lead to an entry in the Jessome Cup playoffs (competing against the Tuesday Men’s teams)
  • League Fee: $165

Tuesday Day Ladies

  • Competitive 8-end curling
  • Games begin at 9:30 AM weekly
  • Skips select teams of 4 women and teams are entered for the entire season
  • League Fee: $110

Tuesday Senior Men

  • Recreational 8-end curling
  • Games begin at 11:45 AM weekly
  • Players sign up individually and the League Convenor arranges teams
  • Teams change half way through the season
  • League Fee: $110

Tuesday Night Men

  • Competitive 8-end curling
  • Games at 6:25 PM and 8:40 PM weekly
  • Skips select teams of 4 men and teams are entered for the entire season
  • Teams play a round robin to determine flights
  • Each flight determines a champion
  • Top teams qualify for the Jessome Cup (overall men’s club champion)
  • League Fee: $165

Wednesday Night Open

  • Competitive 8-end curling
  • Games at 6:25 PM and 8:40 PM weekly
  • This is an "open" league meaning there can be any combination of women and men on a team
  • Skips select teams of 4 and teams are entered for the entire season
  • League Fee: $150

Thursday Senior Open Rec

  • Recreational 8-end curling
  • Games begin at 8:45 AM weekly
  • Open to women and men 50+ years
  • Players sign up individually and the League Convenor arranges teams
  • Teams change half way through the season
  • The winning team in the 1st draw plays the winning team of the 2nd draw in the "Day of Champions"
  • League Fee: $100

Thursday Senior Open Comp

  • Competitive 8-end curling
  • Games at 11:30 AM and 1:45 PM weekly
  • Open to women and men 50+ years
  • Skips select teams of 4 players and teams are entered for the entire season
  • The winning teams are determined in a double knockout playoff
  • Winning teams play off in the Day of Champions
  • League Fee: $145

Thursday Business Women

  • Recreational 8-end curling
  • Games begin at 6:00 PM weekly
  • Players sign up individually and the League Convenors arrange teams
  • Teams change half way through the season
  • The winning team in the 1st draw plays the winning team of the 2nd draw in the "Day of Champions"
  • Teams take turns providing a pot-luck dinner each week following the game
  • League Fee: $125

Thursday night leagues are a great place for new curlers to develop their skills.

Thursday Night Men

  • Recreational 8-end curling
  • Games begin at 8:15 PM weekly
  • Players sign up individually and the League Convenor arranges teams
  • Teams change twice throughout the season (3 draws)
  • Winning teams play off in the Day of Champions
  • League Fee: $125

Thursday night leagues are a great place for new curlers to develop their skills.

Friday Night Mixed Open - early

  • Recreational/Social 6-end curling
  • Games begin at 5:30 PM weekly
  • Players can sign up as individuals, pairs, or in teams
  • Teams are mixed with any combination of men and women and are fixed for the season
  • Friday night leagues are a great place for new curlers to begin curling and meet others in the club
  • The top teams from both the Early and Late draws play off for the Friday Night Championship
  • League Fee: $85

  • Games begin at 7:15 PM and  8:50 PM weekly
  • Players sign up as individuals and the League Convenor assigns teams
  • Teams are mixed with any combination of men and women
  • Teams change half way through the season
  • Friday night leagues are a great place for new curlers to begin curling and meet others in the club
  • The top teams from both the Early and Late draws play off for the Friday Night Championship
  • League Fee: $85

Mixed Doubles - Fall session

  • League Fee: $30 per person
  • Competitive 8-end curling; six-week session
  • A Mixed Doubles team consists of 2 players (one male, one female)
  • Players can sign up as a team or as an individual to be paired with a teammate
  • Each team throws 5 stones each
  • Games begin at 3:00 PM (tentaive) on the following Sundays:

Mixed Doubles - Winter Session

  • Games begin at 10:00 AM on the following Sundays:

Junior / Bantam

Dates: Sundays - weekly
Time:  6:30 - 8:30 PM (tentative)
Cost:  $100 plus HST**

** Fee for the Junior Program does not include playing in an Adult league.
To participate in both the Junior Program and Adult league(s) the fee is $226 ($200 + HST).

Start Date:  Sunday, October 15, 2017 (tentative)

Little Rocks

Get those little one's started!  It's never too late to join!

Sundays - every other week (approximately)
Time:  12:15 - 2:30 PM
Dates: TBD for 2017-18
Cost:  $50 plus HST per child (equipment is provided)

Kids Need to Bring:

  1. Clean Running Shoes with Clean Soles- preferably a pair that has never seen the outdoors.
  2. Helmet- a bicycle helmet or hockey helmet should be worn on the ice.
  3. Warm Clothing (layers are great) and Gloves.  The temperature on the ice is only slightly above the freezing mark.  Clothes should be loose fitting or stretchy.

A typical session will consist of:

  • a warm-up
  • approx 45 minutes of skills development
  • a 10-15 minute break for pop and chips (one glass of pop is donated;  chips are $1.00 if desired)
  • a short game where the individual gets to try different positions and learn the rules, etiquette and flow of a game.

While parents are encouraged to stay and watch, we know this isn't always possible.

Learn to Curl 101 Clinic

New to curling or would you like hands-on help to improve your game?
     ---- This is the clinic for you!

  • 5 Sessions - Sunday mornings:
    • TBD for 2017
  • Time: 10:00 AM - 12 Noon
  • Cost: $56.50 ($50.00 +HST)**
  • Club Membership not required
  • Choose to join the Club after the clinic, deduct $50 from your membership fee

** Note: Clinic Fee is waived with many Membership Types

Important to note:
In order to keep the ice clean and clear of dirt and fibres (which adversely affect play) we ask the following:

  • Please bring clean running shoes with clean soles, ideally ones that have NOT been worn outside; or thoroughly clean the soles of the running shoes you plan to wear on the ice and use them only for curling.
  • Ensure you have warm, loose clothing made of fabric that does not shed.  Layering is ideal.
